From residential development to financial strategies, I have been involved in many aspects of business over the years.
A Journey of Learning, Growth, and Success
I’ve always been drawn to both design and math, an unusual combination, but one that led me to pursue a career in Engineering. I knew I wanted to be involved in residential development, so that became my first step, but I also had a passion for constantly learning and embracing new challenges. Early in my career, I was fortunate to work with a diversified family business, which provided the opportunity to pivot during the 2008 financial downturn and broaden my expertise across various industries. During this time, I led a multi-million-dollar hotel renovation of a six-story condo-hotel.
Following this project, my role continued to evolve, encompassing personal financial management for the owners, business oversight for hotels, restaurants, real estate holdings, and countless other exciting ventures.
Throughout my journey, I had the privilege of learning from some incredibility successful business leaders, and the knowledge I gained from them has proven to be invaluable in shaping my career.
I began working in the development field after college and quickly grew to love the industry. I handled the oversight from construction to out sale. Managing contractors, working with architects and engineers, handling permitting and inspections, and taking the projects through closing with real estate agents and title companies, as the owner’s representative and project manager.
Over the years my role evolved to encompass oversight of seasonal hotels, providing strategic analysis for seasonal restaurants, and facilitation monthly financial meetings with accountants for various businesses. I gained valuable experience in company structuring, contract review and negotiation, and legal disputes, further enhancing my expertise in business operations.
I significant portion of my career has focused on financial management and analysis. I have been responsible for budgeting construction projects, yearly business budget verse actual analysis, and annual association budgets. I have provided financial projections for startups and conducted annual business analysis to assess distributions and among seasonal cash flow needs. My experience also extends to day-to-day financial operations, and collaborating with financial brokers to evaluate and implement recommendations for investment portfolios. I have also worked closely with accountants, attorneys, and other financial professionals to ensure seamless coordination of tax planning, compliance, and strategic financial decisions.
I have successfully managed challenging projects that required complex permitting and approval, often navigating obstacles where permits were not easily obtained. Over the years, I have worked extensively with various governmental agencies, developing a deep understanding of regulatory processes and ensuring compliance to move projects forward efficiently.
The construction of condominium and townhouse projects involves stabbing the homeowners’s association (HOA) that will govern the individual units and shared common areas. The establishment of the HOA is crucial for setting the framework that ensures effective governance, maintenance, and decision-making for both the individual units and the shared common areas.

In 2024 I decided to take the leap and start my own consulting business, Plan + Prosper. With deep industry expertise and hands-on knowledge, I provide individual clients with strategic guidance and proven insights to help them achieve their business and financial goals.
